Does CCISD have an illness/injury policy?
Yes. Click on the Illness & Injury tab on this page to view the policy.

When can my child return to school after illness?
They may return to school 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting/diarrhea/fever without the use of medications or with a doctor’s release. Students with pink eye may return when symptoms are completely gone or with a doctor’s release. 

Does my child need to be vaccinated to attend school?
In accordance with Texas state law all children attending school must either be immunized or provide evidence of immunization exemption. Please visit the Texas Department of Health and Human Services for more information on required vaccines and exemptions.

Can I bring medications for my child to have at school?
Yes. Please click on the Medication Policy tab on this page. There you will find a link to the Medication Administration Form. Please fill it out and bring it to your school along with the medication.
